Super villains have a nasty tendency to go through hired henchmen at an alarming rate. How could they not, when you think about it? The henchmen are usually the ones who are getting beaten up, blown up, and generally taken out of the picture. So how do you find new henchmen in this cut throat industry? By using marketing and social media methods, coupled with search engine marketing methods. This way, they can find the best options, and the henchmen can find employment that much easier as well.

Take for instance the Joker. He is continually looking for new henchmen to do his bidding as Batman keeps blowing them up and incarcerating them. So Joker should take out some Facebook ads or post on Craigslist. He could also post on message boards common among henchmen to locate new hires.

How could he know what to type into his search engine to find new henchmen? Well, usually henchmen are hired via word of mouth and “friend of a friend” types of things. In this case, Joker could type in “need henchmen,” “henchmen for hire,” and “hire thug” to locate some qualified individuals to do his bidding.

The problem is finding trustworthy websites to peruse in order to find the henchmen. Too many people these days forge their identities on Craigslist. Unfortunately, keyword searches can be manipulated by the henchmen in order to get themselves located. The henchmen who are technologically inclined in particular may find nefarious ways to up their rankings. These are also the ones who usually don’t get caught by the cops since they work remotely, usually a blacked out van with a suitcase computer.

In the world of evildoers, the super villain is under constant strain to find a worthwhile henchman to do his bidding. The problem is locating these individuals, as the need to replace them is unfortunately frequent. Villains like the Joker could use the Internet to his profit, in order to find the most qualified candidates for the job. After all, time is money and if you’re a super villain, the more time to concoct and execute evil schemes, the better.
